I want to make a small disclaimer that I do not own nor operate drones for shoots, Reilly and Dillon did, however convince me to use theirs, and while I was nervous shaking the entire time since I’ve never used one of these, these images came out so beautifully and it was way easier than I thought 😄

In this fleeting moment where the sun kisses the horizon at Hull Bay, I captured the embodiment of divine womanhood. A mother-to-be, bathed in the golden light of sunset, standing gracefully between the water and sky, wearing her strength like a flowing white dress. There is something SO sacred in the way the earth cradles her, as she carries life, love, and the eternal power of creation.

Women are the storytellers of the universe, bearers of new worlds, protectors of ancient wisdom, and conduits of profound transformation. In this quiet stillness, I was reminded that motherhood is not just a phase, but a sacred rite of passage.

To the women who bring life into being and to the mothers who shape the future: You are divine. You are the miracle. You are EVERYTHING!!!

Where do I even start with this INCREDIBLE day?! Ryan contacted me weeks prior to this big moment and we planned out this engagement shoot, only for it to fall on the exact day we were expecting Tropical Storm Ernesto. Of course nerves were high and I had no idea if we would be able to make this happen as we were expecting rain earlier in the day. By 5pm we were expected to have heavy rain and strong winds, which is when we planned to meet. The plan was walk Taylor on the beach to Pretty Klip Point, pop the question followed by dinner at Sea Salt. As the day went on, all restaurants closed on the island and Sea Salt unfortunately cancelled their reservation. It was crunch time because we now have to get Taylor to this spot with a cancelled reservation. As you can see, we did not let that stop us. We decided we would play it by ear all day long and hope for the best and try to do it as close to the original time we planned to not spoil the surprise for Taylor. And by the grace of Mother Nature, we had 1 quick sunny beautiful hour just before the storm approached to make this happen. And I mean one last hour, as Ernesto started to make its strong appearance as soon as I got home from this shoot. It was about 3pm and I was on standby ready to jump in my car at any moment and head to Sapphire. When that sun came up I sent Ryan a text and he was able to get Sapphire just as that sun peaked out. Ryan was so excited to share this moment with Taylor and postponing was just not feeling like the right option… And she said Y E S! 💍 Taylor was totally surprised. I am so incredibly happy for this amazing couple! Their love and joy in this moment was so abundant. Congratulations to Ryan & Taylor again. You two were so incredible to work with and the hour we had shooting together was so much fun!! 🤍🤍
